The working principle of the frequency divider is mainly to divide the frequency band through the combination of high-pass filter and low-pass filter. The high-pass filter only allows the high-frequency signal to pass through and prevents the low-frequency signal from entering the tweeter speaker. It is also called low-cut, and is used to set the lower frequency of the output signal. On the contrary, the low-pass filter only allows the low-frequency signal to pass through and prevents the high-frequency signal from entering the subwoofer speaker. It is also called high-cut filter, which is used to set the upper limit frequency of the output signal. For example, the frequency response range index of the speaker used is 48 to 18000 Hz. When setting the frequency division parameter, set the HPF value to 48 LPF value to 18000. After setting, the frequency range of the signal output by the frequency divider is consistent with the frequency response range of the speaker. When the input signal frequency is higher than the set value, the excess part will be removed. This can effectively protect the speaker.
